Creamy Chickpea and Tomato Curry

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 cups cooked chickpeas
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp cloves
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 4 curry leaves
  • 1 sweet onion, diced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 500g chopped fresh tomatoes, skinned
  • 400 ml can light coconut milk
